Blender addon Mesh Utils

Addon to mirror, chop,  rotate and move in edit mode.

First download and install the add-on from the file.

When the add-on is installed in edit mode appears the menu 'edit'.

Mirror

Select a plane, the selected plane is the mirror. All the linked geometry is mirrored.

If you want to mirror other geometry as well, first select it. The last selected plane is the mirror plane.

You can also mirror in a vertice or in a edge.

After ‘Mirror’ is pressed  menu appears.

When merge is selected the mirrored geometry is merged. You can also remove all internal faces. Y en X swap mirror the mirror object in the y and y direction.

Plane to Plane

Select plane, and select second plane. De geometry that is linked to the first plane is moved to the second plane.

In the menu  you can change the rotation.

To Chop

-select 3 points on a mesh not on one line and press chop. The tree point define the chopping plane. You can also chose a plane to chop.

The chop plane can be moved( measure in cm).

Holes at vertices

Select one vertice or more and press 'Hole at vertice.Then tweak with the submenu.

Rotate

Chose plane or vertice or line as center of rotation, and select mesh to rotate.

You can also chose the 3d cursor as center of rotation.

Cursor can be set to center of plane.
